This washer has nine wash cycles, including the superfast 15-minute cycle. SmartBoost premixes water, detergent, and stain remover for better results on tough stains.

Electrolux produces matching gas and electric dryer options, both with an 8.0 cu. ft. capacity. They have a Predictive Dry feature that identifies the amount of laundry and adjusts the dry time. This feature prevents overdrying, protects fabric, and saves you money. Like many washers, Electrolux dryers also have a gentle steam option.

Samsung washers come with up to 14 dedicated wash cycles and 12 wash options. These include PowerFoam, which helps detergent penetrate deep into fabric and get better results on stubborn stains. Steam is useful as it increases the washer's water temperature, boosts cleaning power, and dissolves detergent more effectively. Which washer has the least repairs? You'll be happy to know that both Electrolux and Samsung washers are built to last, and both manufactured with built-in troubleshooting diagnostic modes. You won't be needing many repairs with either model, but these diagnostic mode will help you pinpoint what needs repairing.

How do you know when a washer needs replacing? We encourage you to use those diagnostic modes on either washer if you suspect something is awry. Here are some key red flags to tell:

This washer is less than two years old. There are only three adults living in the household. The part has been unavailable to fix it for two months, and the company has no idea when it will be available. If I knew this was a Frigidaire brand, I wouldn't have purchased it. The customer service is nonsensical. You wait on the line trying to talk to an actual person only to have them tell you nothing. Long story short, $900 down the drain in less than two years. If my grandparents had this happen over and over with these terrible and unreliable appliances, they would be storming the corporate offices with pitchforks. Do yourself a favor and run away from Electrolux!

On Feb. 27, 2023 we purchased an Electrolux washer Model # ELFW7637AW from the Canadian Appliance Source. The product arrived 4 days later. We were delighted that it came so quickly. It got delivered and installed. But when my husband turned it on, things went awry. The light inside only came on when it was first plugged in, but then it didn't come on again. Then there was an issue with the door. It would not "CLOSE". So the machine did not function at all.

At the end of October, I ordered an Electrolux washer and dryer after reading great reviews and talking to the sales people in the appliance department. I always liked their vacuum cleaners. Phrasing kindly, I had a difficult time with the big chain store's communications and work, and one delivery team for a December 2 delivery (one didn't want to take upstairs and was looking at every excuse not to) and they cancelled my order. When it finally was delivered the January 6th, I heard a strange noise like a saw sound, at the beginning of the cycle. The dryer was fine, except it didn't collect lint. I read that in October 2022, Electrolux was laying off thousands of workers and closing a plant in Anderson, S.C. due to low demand. Was this affecting quality?

I really wanted to buy this machine! It looks like quality, and is heavy and quiet when it's not taking off! I envy those that have a set that give 5 stars. Lowe's manager said, "Just try one more." Customer service had a quick next day pickup and delivery. The same delivery team came that installed a dud and was bringing another washer, and said, "What are you doing?!!" I agreed, it was crazy. Lowe's was at least quick to remedy each time, and the store management too was great. I ordered a LG Wash tower. It was weird. It worked the first time and I was done after 3 months of trying just to buy a quality set.

Electrolux doesn't honor their warranty. We purchased Electrolux washer to replace our 12 year old Electrolux. Had excessive vibration and thumping after 1 month. Electrolux Warranty sent tech out who said it was normal since Electrolux machines are made "cheaper" now. A few months later, drum broke free and destroyed inside of machine and motor. Electrolux Warranty sent same repair tech out. He told them it wasn't repairable. We spent 1 month of phone calls to Electrolux Warranty requesting they honor warranty and provide a replacement/rebate. Finally, they said they were going to start the process over again with a new repair company so they could get a second opinion and it would be another month at least. We gave up and purchased an LG. We will NEVER buy Electrolux again.

I bought a brand-new washer and dryer and it never worked. It was a lemon and they never honor their warranty. We eventually bought new ones somewhere else. I would never ever buy Electrolux product ever again.

UPDATED ON 02/15/2023: This is an update for a previous review. I've had 3 service techs come to work on my washer and it's still not working. The last one ordered the electronic board that controls the motor that spins the drum and the motor. Received the board but not the motor. Called twice to A&E Factory Service and was told that the board had shipped but they couldn't provide any info on the motor, the 2nd time was told it was on backorder. Ended up calling the manufacturer and they had the part. A&E never bothered to contact the manufacturer to see if it was available from them. Well, it was. These 2 entities don't talk/communicate with each other. They keep blaming the other and shuffling me back and forth.

ORIGINAL: Did some research before I bought a new washer. Thought Electrolux was a reliable brand that the company would stand behind. I was wrong. It never would spin like designed. Left clothes wet enough that I could hand wring out. Repair tech didn't listen and tried to convince me that the problem was the water pump. He replaced it and it did not work any differently. Tried calling Electrolux to get them to stand up and back their product but just got the runaround. 2nd tech came and diagnosed the motherboard was bad. A&E Factory Service tried to order and it supposedly was back-ordered. I called Electrolux just for them to tell me that they had parts and were waiting for the repair company or the customer to report a problem before they would help. That's not customer service more like customer self-service. Been 2 months and still not a working washer.

Bought an Electrolux efls627 washer 2 years ago. The main bearing on the tub is already going. Owned LG and Samsung and the bearings went out in 5 years and I thought that was bad. Bought this due to good ratings. Not good for longevity or reliability. Really cheaply built. Most washers now still use clamps to retain hoses so they stay in place and don't leak. Not Electrolux they use wire ties. So you have to cut them off and buy new wire ties to take hoses on and off. The Samsung and LG front load washer had balance weights that were metal or a really hard composite of cement and some kind of resin. Not this crappy Electrolux. It has a poor quality of cement. You have to be careful taking them off while disassembling the washer for fear they will crumble. I bought the washer because it was highly rated. That was due to features and hype. 041b061a72
